The water in my big apple tastes chlorinated when it comes out of the tap, which will help the most by removing the chlorine taste? Which one will best suit my needs?
What about Transpose Osmosis Filtration?

you could fill a water pitcher and then let it set so the chlorine gas will disperse before you drink it. or buy a brita filter, that you pour the water into and it filters it into a water picture. What you want a filter with activated carbon. The RO is more dear and more maintenance. I would go with the under sink filter. A whole unit is useful if you have a lot of minerals in the water that clog up you faucets and leave lime deposits on the fixtures,etc. the ones that go on the end of the faucet are inconveniant and have a unquestionably small carbon filter. RO removes more stuff form the water, like minerals. its more like distilled water

Whole house water filtration systems or just under sink?

I have very unquestionable water where I live & I was wondering if it would be worth it to invest in a whole house water filtration system or if I should just get an under sink reverse osmosis system w/ the storage tank for drinking water?

I would be more likely to get the whole house water filtration system if I could determine how beneficial it is for other things...

Is this water a lot better for your skin?

What about when washing your clothes? Does badly water make this more harsh or turn whites dingy?

What is the difference between a Water Softener and this type of system?

a water exclude generally does nothing more than filter out sediment or remove some basics taste and odor problems, you penury a water treatment of sorts to correct the hardness of the water, You need to have your water tested by an independent lab to see what you hardness , ph etc is . The grains of hardness would conclude the size and price of equipment that you would need to correct the water .
