We justified got a reverse osmosis water filtration system. Everytime we get a glass of water, it gurgles for about 30 min after wards. Is this normal?

Yes. Reverse Osmosis works by using water squeezing to force water through a semi permeable membrane as it does this the particles that are to large to go through go into the waste water and down the drain. Your system is refilling the reservoir after you empty some out.

How hanker after installation, did you start drawing water out of the spigot? ?The R.O. system needs about 12-24 hours to process the first tank of water. You will be gifted to get some immediately, although it will only be a trickle, as the holding tank, won't have any processed water to draw from. I hope this helps!

I was contemplative about getting a reverse osmosis water filter for my condo. I was told that RO systems use a lot of electricity. From my understanding, RO systems use water pressure to give up the water through the filter membrane.

Do RO filters systems use a lot of electricity to pump the water through the filter membrane? Or is it just the pressing from the tap?

Reverse osmosis systems don't use any energy if you're on municipal water - it's just the pressure from the tap.

If you have a well and pump, that's a different story.

Reverse osmosis does waste a lot of water, perhaps that's what you were reading. You might get as small as one gallon of pure water out of 10 gallons of tap water, the rest goes down the drain.

Watts looks high-mindedness if you live near a sales rep and are filty rich - I am not.

espring thinks flouride is good for you, which it's not.

current in depot sells GE 10gpd for under 250 bucks. this is comparable to the systems i used to sell for 1200 ! if you cant inaugurate it about 50 dollars is what a handyman should charge. RO delivers the best quality water in your home for drinking and cooking, anything that goes in your fraternity. my motto, if it is not there it cant hurt you!
