I deficiency the best brand that combines both technologies - RO and carbon filtering - into one apparatus.

Fart underwater and the bubbles will ooze the water. Saves lots of money on fancy do-nothing filtration systems.

A hardly research on the RO system and you may find you don't want it.
It turns the water to a term called ( ZERO )
No chemical or nutrient value at all.
If it is your pinnacle source of drinking water then you would have to substitute with a regiment of vitamin and mineral supplements.

The best Carbon system is point of use ( designated tap ) with the riddle being block carbon with silver impregnated core.
It will out perform anything else on the market, and you will not need RO or any other combination system.

What's better : RO water purification or 'carbon and UV'.?

The reported machine has UV and Active Carbon filtration.
The machine is Eureka Forbes' and is a 10 yr old model.
Just in habitual, should i opt for a repair, or get a new system with 6 step RO purification??
The water used is North Delhi's (India). and is soft water.
All suggestions will be fittingly appreciated!

I'm not unavoidable about either. If UV treatment creates ozone as a byproduct, that would not be healthy to breath. If not, I would say stay with the carbon.

RO systems do take everything out of the water both good and bad. It leaves you with what some would call insatiable water. The water wants to find the mineral balance that it lost. When you drink it, it finds the minerals inside of you and pulls them from you. The water is also acidic. If there is a way in the 6 not harmonious with process to counter act these problems, it should be ok.

After some research, the system I went with adds energy and minerals back to the water after going through a excellent filtration process, the same as a kidney dialysis machine.

I have know somewhere that RO doesn't filter out chlorine that well. Is that true? Does a carbon filter cleans out chlorine well?

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't... I have a lucid water purifier that boils the water, as in a Kenmore brand. There is no chlorine taste or smell with the purified water. So RO filtration would seem even more advanced than my stark purifier..Hope this helps..
