Does a Brita water filtration pitcher remove parasites from drinking water?

Or does it unbiased remove the chemicals that make the water taste bad? I drink well water, and want to make it safer.
Sorry, I coundn't find an filch category.

no.... carbon reasonable takes out smells... therefore it tastes better... boil it

The Brita water sieve has activated charcoal to remove organic compounds and chlorine and ion exchange resin to remove female lead, copper and mercury. So it removes harmful chemicals such as pesticides and heavy metals and improves drop.

The PUR filter has a membrane filter of 5 micron size to remove the oocysts of Cryptosporidium or Giardia (parasites) and rust.

If your conduit concern is parasites, consider a tap filter, because it operates under pressure and is therefore faster.

No ordinary filter can rub out bacteria. To remove bacteria, the pore size of the membrane filter has to be 0.22 micron.

It will clarify impurities, but not microbes.

Does EVERYONE change their Brita/water filtration pitcher filters right on time?

Or do you go an supplementary week... month... or whatever. Do they really go bad right away? Be honest :)
OK sorry..... for the people that in fact have one.

I regularly change it about a few days after the recommended time, because they say bacteria can become a concern.

Is water filtration with the BRITA pitcher and filters worth of using it?

It's written that it's not efficient microbiologically.
I would like to know if it's safe to use it.

Na......the water tap membrane strain is a bit better but for the best water one must install a whole house water filtration system to clean up the VOCs, chlorine, fluoride and other toxic crap water "authorities" put in our drinking water.

I myself use a Brita water filter pitcher at home. But that's not convenient enough, or glamorous enough, for some people.
