I can run the wires from my wall mounted tv, but are there any good wall plates for where the wires exit?

I will have the power string,hdmi and coax to the cable box. Any sites where wall plates for this purpose would be greatly appreciated.

You requirement to avoid running AC power cords next to interconnects if possible.

You also need to make sure any wires you run in wall are "CL3" or "In Wall" rated so they dont spread fire. This is often fire conventions in many places.

You really dont want to 'break' the cables at a wall plate. Position a plastic electrical outlet box and buy $0.80 blank wall plates and drill custom holes for the cables, but cede them un-broken.

You can get BNC or "F" connectors in wall plates - and these are the only unions I would use for HD video if you must put connectors on a wall plate (RCA plugs are as a matter of fact rather poor for signal transmission).

I'm afraid I dont have a good idea how to put a HDMI connector into a wall illustration.

Is it okay to joining the electrical from the existing outlet on the wall?

Do we have to install a wall plate or can the HDMI run from the TV through the wall and attach to the DVR?

Do we need another HDMI cablegram to hook up the TV to the stereo?

Have someone wise do the installation.

You can't use regular HDMI cable you need UL Listed CL3 rated cable.

Is there a difference in a cable tv wall plate from Wal-mart and one you would get from the cable company?

I am about to split some wires in my up on and I purchased a wall plate from Wal-mart. I looked at the one I have installed from my cable company and it looks a little various. Is there a difference? I am asking in terms of picture and signal quality, not looks.

The one I got from Wal-mart is GE or Phillips branded. I was prospering to get one from eBay but the next time I have to get my cable serviced I'll get a wall plate from them. I would get one off of eBay but I have no way of knowing if the quality of that is change one's mind then the quality of the one from Wal-mart.

Total they are pretty much the same. As long as you install everything correctly you will not notice a difference. I installed cable for years, and acclimatized a large variety of components and never noticed a difference when properly installed.
