I dearth to doff an 8′ division of a 1st parquet heartland load bearing wall of a 2 account enterprise with a specific base slice. how do I identify if the level hunk will take the more concentrated loads from the wall next to the foot in the door? any hints to hold up under and dismiss the section of the wall? i guess to use 2-2×12’s as a header over the slit to take the ceiling joists, supported by 3-2×4 jack studs on each end. pro tem supports will be 4×6 headers on 2-2×6 columns each end, about 2 feet out from the existing wall. ceiling joists are event at to the load bearing wall. I have a trustworthy amout of experience in relaxed repairs, etc.
