How do I get a Plate glass mirror in bathroom off the wall?

This spec domestic builder put up 3 horribly ugly plate glass mirrors to cover 3 whole bathrooms walls..How do I get these off the walls!!!! Thanks to all adept in builders and contractors and home improvement specialists for their answers!!!!!

Try in a corner of one of the walls (at the bottom). Take a braids dryer and put it on high and aim between the wall and the mirror. There may not seem as if there is a space but there is. Get it good and hot and take a screw driver to try a lift it up a little. Not to far to habituate but to see if it will move. Some builders use a product called Liquid Nails to put up those mirrors and then some use construction adhesive so it depends on that issuance. When Liquid Nails becomes hot it tends to liquify and be more pliable. Construction adhesive tends to harden and needs to be in actuality broken into pieces, see what I mean about the difference?

You may end up having to break the mirror into big pieces that you can remove but always tax safety goggles and heavy duty gloves.

I demand a website or two about australian standards for plate glass walls.My grandfather walked into one that didn't have any markings or designs to show it was there.In the make breaking his nose and and putting his neck out he then had to spend $500 getting his nose and neck stable.He wants to claim on the company and hes sure as am i that there are laws saying there must be some desighn etc showing its there...

We are remodeling and call for help with getting 3 ugly plate glass mirrors off 3 bathroom walls..any help and suggestions on how to get them off the walls would be greatly appreciated.....

had to do upon same thing.Rent or buy a hand held glaziers(glass worker) suction tool.Starting at one of the top corners,weld the suction device 6" from the top and 6" in from the side.then place a small flat pry bar on the top edge 4" from the side.GENTLY pry the repeat out 1/8 to 1/4 inch.move suction over 6" and with pry bar centered above suction device,repeat.Endure across top of mirror.then go back to starting point and this time pry mirror away from wall approximately 3/4 to 1 ".Carry on with across top of mirror.Then move suction device down approx. 10 " and repeat.The mirror is attached to the wall with a silicone based adhesive and you are difficult to break the bond.As you are prying the mirror,you will "feel" where the silicone spots are.Neutral work slow and gently.
