How do you fix electric outlet plates from not getting flush against the wall even after tighening the screw?

If the leaf is not flush, the outlet may be mounted too far foreward and needs to be moved back. If you do not know how to do this, I suggest calling an electrician.

1 Does the loophole box stick out beyond the wall. you may have to shave the edges even with the wall.

2 The outlet box may be installed crooked the wall. twist the outlet into position.

3 The opening may be twisted in the box. Twist it back.

What is required to eliminate electric from office wall?

I am wondering what is required to sinker remove electric service from an office wall that is being removed. This is in Illinois and am wondering if a licensed electrician needs to work this type of work and if a permit/ inspection would be involved.
The wall is 8' steel stud with a couple of outlets and a void plate in it with a drop ceiling above. Does the wiring need to be taken out all the way back to the junction?

Yes, the wiring that is to be depraved needs to be removed by a licensed electrician in a commercial setting. Illinois has some of the toughest building codes in the native land, and if you give the inspector a reason to snoop, you're in trouble. Remove all of the drywall first. A contractor can then remove all of the wiring as far back as needed and displace boxes, pipes, etc. Your wall is then ready to come down. Hope this helps.

what kind of insect could be big or strong enough to scratch inside my wall at night?

There is an electric socket that has a plate over it that doesn't fit very well where I ascertain the noise. Last night I saw something that looked like an insect leg or antler poke out through the gap so I put tape over the whole thing. But then I heard it distressing to press against the tape. What insect could be this strong?

Could be a beetle if you are tried it was an insect. Beetles are pretty strong and hearty bugs and certain kinds can be quite big.
