I'm remodeling my first stingingly and I really like the look of the satin nickel switch plates and outlet plates. Will these look odd with the current brass door knobs and door hinges? Would satin nickel armaments on the doors make it look better? I found some good prices online for satin nickel door metal goods so replacing the door hardware isn't completely out of the question. I like the look of brass hardware on the doors so I'm a scarcely conflicted.
This is actually a small 1100 sq. ft. condo and only has 11 doors so switching to all of one or the other won't barrel kill my budget.
Thanks in advance!
No the brass and brushed nickle wouldn't look sensible. Make it all one or the other. When I sold my house and had new carpet layed, the decorators told me that even the trim between the carpeted and tiled areas should always betrothal your door hardware.
acknowledge gratitude you

This happened a brace of years ago, and I still wonder what caused it. I heard a strange hum throughout my house, and finally tracked it to a downstairs bathroom where an engraved antiquated brass plate hung on a wall beside a window. The plate was virbrating furiously as it hung on the wall, but nothing else in my house was doing this. Why the charger, and what caused it? Finally, I gently touched the plate with a finger and the vibration immediately ceased. The panel is round, solid brass, about 2/3 the size of a dinner plate and came from London when a relative brought it back from a afflict to an antique shop. Is the plate haunted, or is there a reasonable scientific explanation for this phenomenon?
I have in mind that its size and shape just happened to give it the right resonating frequency, allowing it to be responsive to an ultrasonic happening (which you couldn't hear).
"Ultrasounds" can be caused by a variety of factors -- vehicles fascination by, the shape and location of the room, seismic factors, and so on. It just happened to be in the right location where it was superior to respond to the disturbances. (Incidentally, areas subject to high levels of ultrasonic phenomena are often associated with hauntings and the like.)
BTW, there's an exterior chance that you had a little bit of a magnetic disturbance in your basement caused by the ground shifting under your home, but I over the first possibility is most likely.
