You should give more info. He's using his older 8800GTS postcard he bought a year or whatever ago. Those got replaced with the 9800gt which is like $110 I over. Old 2gig cpu, games like Bad Crowd 2 wouldnt even lade. Now with the new 2.6 quad middle cpu he's getting like 40-50fps with max settings at 1080p. This cpu can be overclocked effortlessly through the bios automatically to 4gig safely. So when he overclocks it to 3.2gig he should go to 60-70fps. With an OLD practical joker. Now when he gets his new be honest next year or whatever...lols. In Dx10 you get some nicer effects as well as a Anti-Aliasing fashion. I'm running 1080p though there is no purpose for Anti-Aliasing. The res is so high there isn't many jaggies liberal to naked. DX10 does stage a revive HBAO to the eatables though. Its a exquisite screen to stick. But with all this on max your looking at 30fps during play one's part and 24 during fraps.
