body fat percentage and six pack?

So I have my own council fat tester that says I have 19% body fat, but if I measure myself again right after I just did it will sometimes drop to 17.5% or up to 21%, so I don't confidence it. I went online and used a bunch of BMI/ body fat caluclators and my results ranged from 7% to 20%. I am 15 years old, 5' 7" weigh 135 and a guy. I'm not conserned with how fit I am, but i deficiency a six pack. My abs have some definition, but I can only see it when a light is shinning at me. Thanks!

Alex, there are two things you emergency here: low body fat and well-developed abdominal muscles.

You will start seeing some ab definition as you get in the 10-13 percent bodyfat index, but to really get them ripped out, you need to get into the single digits. The best way to get a true sense of your bodyfat is to edge a pair of accumeasure fat calipers. They are less than $10 and are the most accurate measure of body fat short of getting in a O tank. You can buy them on Amazon.com (link below.)

Here's the thing though: Even with low bodyfat, if you don't have some muscle mass in your abs, you won't have a six accumulation. I would recommend training your abs like you would train your chest or biceps: use some resistance and don't always train with far up-reps. Aim instead to train in the 15-20 rep range and make sure you are doing a mix of crunches, leg raises (hanging are the most outstanding) and some oblique work.

Finally, understand that you can't treat muscles in isolation. You mention that being fit isn't your "house", but to have really great abs, you need to be in excellent shape overall. That means you'll call for to be in good cardiovascular shape and you'll need to have excellent overall muscle development and conditioning.

I've never seen a himself with a six pack that wasn't generally ripped overall. And you don't get there just by doing crunches. You have to have an strikingly clean diet (no junk food, no soda, etc.) and exercise. There are no short cuts.

You also have to remember that even as you age good abdominal definition, your skin tone/color and the lighting will impact how cut they look. So in the summer, they may look superiority because you have a tan. Pro bodybuilders and fitness models (male and female) are usually "tanned up" with coloring oils that accompany out the definition. So you just need to adjust your expectations based on that.

How can I get my body fat percentage to go up really fast?

I have this speechless P.E. class where at the beginning of the year we all got our body fat percentage measured. I lost points on this assignment because I didn't have "strong" body fat percentage (between 12% and 25%). I tested in at around 8% body fat. How can I try and make my solidity fat percentage go up really fast with only a month left before the final test? I don't own a body fat tester, but I ponder that I have maybe gained 1 percent or so. If I lose any more points, I'll be in risk of getting a sort of crappy gradient.

macaroni, this seems like a bs class, they CAN'T grade you on your body fat %, idk wtf is wrong with your school, but seriously your guru needs to get laid because he/she has nothing better to do than downgrade over something so damn stupid.
