You can buy a router that will split hte internet to multiple computers AND stopper a printer into that router to act as a network printer.
Alternatively, you can install a printer on a computer and use the printer from another computer

Yes, its tenable. If your PC that's getting online already has a LAN card but is connected to the modem, then make sure that PC has another slot for another LAN card so you can lock it to the other PC. You'll need to enable the ICS on the computer already
