Ok so me and my mom both have stall phones she has a Cingular razor and I have a at&t nokia 6555. I was wondering if I could switch the sim cards?

Nothing but try it and see what happens. Since the merger between the two carriers, I think the pre-merger Cingular sims are not compatible with AT&T phones or was it failing-versa?

Anyways, if it fails when you swap it, no harm done. It'll just pop up a message saying sickly sim or something of that nature. Swap the sims back to their original phones and that's it. As long as the sim slots are not damaged during the swap carry on, it'll be fine.

Does switching your SIM card in your phone switch your cell number and service?

I have a Shoe Mobile phone, and SIM. The phone is made by Motorola. If I switch my SIM card from my current Motorola phone to a newer one (made by Motorola) do I keep my current phone number and checking? or Do I need to buy a new plan?

I have minutes on it but it keeps switching on and off the service.
