Is it a good idea to switch off engine while on a red light?

Hi, can someone disbosom oneself me is it a good idea to switch off the engine again and again on every red light ? I think i read somwhere that starting up the engine uses more exacerbate than normal condition? So it is a better move to reduce international wastage to switch off on a red light?

Every red switch on, no, I don't think so... Does anybody do such things? lol

Does a switch exist that will allow me to turn off a specific light that normally must be unplugged?

I have a provisions of lantern lights (essentially christmas lights) and to turn them off, they must be unplugged. I am looking for some kind of on/off switch that will authorize me to turn them off without unplugging them. I run other appliances through this separate ports on the extension cord so it is essential that this device only upon off the lights. Where can I find such an item? Does it even exist?

A power strip with an off/on switch. Just plug it into your existing extension cord. (Be sure you do not overload your compass cord.)

How do I replace a thermal cut off switch on an electric dryer?

I have a swirl dryer that spins and operates properly, but it doesn't put out any heat. We replaced the heating principles and still have the same problem. Someone suggested we replace the thermal fuse and the cut off switch. The cut off switch came with two parts and we are not sure where the other part goes. I advised of the one part goes on the heating element housing. Any help would be appreciated!!

eddy makes a kit of 2 thermostats because once one blows the other one blows. every dryer usually has 2-3 thermostats and usually a thermal blend. ive never replaced one myself, but i do work in the service and parts department so i do recommend you be sure all the lint is cleaned out inside of your dryer and all the way to the OUTSIDE of the house. Otherwise you will continue to blow thermostats, fuses, and your heating element. yen i could be more help. (if you have a model # i can get a breakdown of where the other one goes, it should be near your heat element though)
