I've got lots of tint on my white light switch cover plates. How can I remove this?

You can unquestionably remove the paint with a product called GOOF-OFF it can be found most anywhere they sell paint. Comes in a small can. It will rub out paint from most surfaces. but as always before using read the label.

If you are inanimate set against painting the light switches white (the easiest fix) then I would suggest you buy a scraper and scrape the paint off. Again, painting them silver would be the quickest, easiest fix.

If they are by a hair's breadth the plastic cheap kind, it shoudl just flake off. I do it every time I paint.

It'll scurf off with your finger nail after it's dry. If you want to preserve your fingers then find a blunt straight edge to do it.

Yeah, legitimate replace them. Not only do you get that crisp new look, you just saved yourself a headache of taking off the paint. scrapers price the same as 4 light switch covers.

i am redoing my cell and i want to know where to find an inexpensive blue, purple or pink light switch cover. also where to find bright accents (picture frames, rugs lamp shades, flame less candles, etc) that are low-cost. thanks a lot!!

you can turn into one!! i made mine just get the cover at a hardware store and craft stuff at a craft store and make it look like whatever you privation. and go to Ikea for the accents.
