Stop Switch and Fan light Key switch demo on a Dover Elevator

These are 2 distinct elevators. Watch how these switches work

Lawn Mower has new solenoid and key switch. I have to jump the solenoid posts to start it what could be wrong?

Like I said, it starts when I lean up against the two posts of the solenoid together with a screwdriver and the key is 'on'. But I can't get it to crank when the key is turned to 'start'. I no more than put in a new solenoid and same story, doesn't crank unless I jump the posts. I used a new key switch and again, same story. I'm extremely frustrated, anyone have any help?

I had the same egress a while back. It frusterated the heck out of me, and I'll give you a cobbled up solution, it's simple, quick, and fairly reasonably. Like others said above, it's more than likely a bad wire going from your key switch to the solenoid. You could run another wire, if you know which inclination it is on the key switch. OR, you can go to your auto-parts store, get a 12 volt push-button start switch and some wire. Run a wire from each worlds apart on the start switch to the two poles you jump with your screwdriver, drill a hole in the dash in some convenient location, and voila`, hard redneck-re-engineered! I did this simply because I've got big hands and short patience, and was in no mood to dig in under the dash and find the blankedy-confused bad wire. It's not the proper solution, but it works!
A word of caution- the motor will crank any while the button is pushed-running, key in it or not, etc etc.

bad battery

Jibe the wire from the key switch to the solenoid. It may be loose, broken or have a blown fuse in it.

I acquiesce in, it certainly sounds like you have a lack of CONTROL voltage going to the solenoid. Check your wiring for a defeated wire, loose connections either at the switch or on the solenoid. When your key is turned to "start" if should apply 12 volts to the coil of the solenoid, completing the starting voltage circuit to the starter.

You do NOT have a bad battery if you can jump the posts and favour the starter operate.

Hamper the Safety switches...IE seat switch, neutral gear switch etc etc

how do you bypass the key switch on a Honda four track 250?

how do you give the go-by the key switch on the quad. there is a white a black a green and a white with black stripes wire. wich wires do you relate together to complete the circut so the quad can start?

ass and error try putting the wires in a connection and try starting it..interchanging them will not make any damage until you got the right league
