Skype to run beta of VoIP service for business over SIP, IP switches

The Luxembourg-based business said the beta is available to a restricted billion of developers and others who can have bearing at its Web instal. Pricing for the new artefact, called Skype for SIP for Establishment, will be announced when the software launches later this year, said Chris Moore, older output forewoman at the Skype for Dealing module.

how can i tell the ip address of my switch?

My 3com 2824 switch came with some "auto ascertaining" application that needs to be run to grab it's ip address. The ip address is derived from it's mac talk to, but unfortunately this was not printed on the switch itself. The program is windows only, and I don't have access to a windows computer (lame, I know). To be sure there is an easy command to find out what the address of the switch is? Then I can set it up to use the browser based configuration. Any ideas? I am on a mac, but if you only know windows commands I can very likely find the equivalents.
It has a factory assigned ip address, 169.254.x.x, where the x's come from the switch's mac address. Unfortunately, I don't have the mac whereabouts since it isn't written on the switch. Any other ways to configure it?

most switches don't have an IP but if it does if it does and has one by lapse, then check the docs or the venders website, if you find a default address, you can statically configure your PC in the same subnet to fasten to it for configuration
