Does my Gbic Fiber Switch use SONET Multiplexing?

I have a duo simple fiber optic switches that transfer data to 5 different buildings. the fiber is terminated at a Netgear Gbic section on either side, which is then plugged into the Netgear switches.

I was just wonder what protocol is used within the fiber line between the Gbics. is it SONET Multiplexing?

At once connected fiber switches are using "Fast-Ethernet". A Sonnet network is a WAN transport technology that has nothing to do with area to site or Point-To-Point directly connected networks.

How do you switch two fiber glass boats from one trailer to another?

I have two boats, about 1,800 pounds each and I have two sailboat trailers. One trailer is broken and it has a boat on it and the other trailer is good but it has a broken boat on it. Both boats are too unhappy to lift off the trailer and put on the ground. How do I put the good boat on the good trailer without putting the boats in the copiously to switch them?

I have never done this, but I have heard of people doing this. It takes planning, two or three people, and qualified what you're doing around jacks. Here's what they did:
Jack up the boat sitting on a trailer using a hydraulic jack and wood blocks for vouch for and to protect the hull (not just from scratches, but to spread the weight across a larger area) simultaneously at six or eight points.
When the sailboat is above the trailer, s-l-o-w-l-y pull the trailer forward until the trailer's cross bar almost knocks your supports down.
Start a new jacking spot.
Repeat.
When you're finished, the boat will be sitting on the blocks, and you can then back an empty trailer under the boat using the same system in reverse.

Should I switch to a fiber optic internet service?

I currently have wire internet through avenue broadband company.

Recently Cinergy has placed a fiber optic internet and will be present soon.

Is it worth switching to it? If I do, I'll be switching everything including internet and cable TV over to high def.

only if you need to. are you happy with what you have now? do you just want to go with the latest thing? only you know whats going on. what about cost?
