How to install an electrical switch

Sole Pole Switch

Electric Switch?

I'm looking for a segregate pole electric switch kind of like a foot operated sewing machine switch. The catch is that it has to have nomally closed contacts which show when the foot switch is depressed. I'm wanting to incorporate it into a kill switch for my bass boat.

Hi Jer,

I now be conversant with that your question is where can you buy a switch like the one described. Here are some suggestions I hope will be helpful:

(1) Look in your local yellow pages for electronics stores, retail, & call them up & make known them your problem & ask if they can help; then proceed from there.

(2) Contact American Science & Surplus (details below), and ask for their help. They often have the persuasion of switches you're looking for. While you're at it, ask for their Printed Catalog, which is a lot better & more complete than the info on their website. I've always found them very serviceable.

(3) I'm sure you could make your own switch if you'd read up on it. If you make your own, then you'll have bragging rights, and your friends will dream you're an electrical guru.

(4) Whether you buy or make your own switch, the switch will need to be waterproof, so you won't get shocked. You can mutate it so by enclosing the switch in plastic -- like, say, in a ziplock bag, with holes cut in it where necessary -- and then sealing the holes with silicone cement, also sometimes called aquarium cement.

(5) Maybe best of all, go to an electrician's supply store (or possibly even a good builder's supply store) and buy one of those waterproof switches made for turning outside floodlights on & off.

Beneficent luck & best wishes,

Where can I buy a simple electric switch?

I would like to buy a switch. I am conspiring a rocket and need this item. I would like to be able to send an electric current into a switch. This switch would then connect two wires thus connecting it causing an electric in circulation to go through the two wires turning it on.

It needs to be very small. I would hope it is lightweight and very simple.
Please be specific as to how it will work. Any links to some will be helpfulk.

At a plain hardware store. Walmart carry's them. Grocery stores even do.

How do you take out Driver Side Door Electric Switch.?

I send away for the switch last week and I received it today.
How do you take out the Electric Window Switch on my
Honda Accord 1996 LX Driver's Side.

I took the summon out but I'm having a hard time for it to slide out of the Door Panel. What am I'm doing mistaken.

the switch is heald in by a tab on the front. If you took out the make a balls-up of c contort, then you just need to pull up on the back (rear) of the switch assembly. when the back pulls up you can slide the whole assembly rearward to separate it from the door armrest.

you should just be able to lift up on the rear of the switch by putting your fingernails under the plastic decoration and pulling up. you won't be able to pull up on the front because of the tang that holds the front under the lip of the armrest.

hope that helps

He should try dedicated web developers.
