Using outdoor solar lighting can retain your money if you put those in your house at night time? Yes it does!
It saved me 30 dollars every months or more!
I spectacle if you all have ever thought of that?

I put those solar light outside until it get dark then I put them in my houe.

Thanks for the tip! No, I honourably never thought of it. $30.00 is $30.00 after all. It makes me want to think of a way to keep the solar panel outside, on the side of the house that gets the most sun all the period, while mounting the lights permanently on the inside.

Accurate we have all thought of it. The solar light in my garden isn't very bright. It costs to get solar lighting in your house. Heck, we use very little in the way of lights anyway. I face them off if we're not in the room.

Large question!! Ive been thinking along the same lines with the economic crisis looming its smart to have back up lighting. Solar lights and panels could minister to enough energy to pump water and provide some lighting as well as well as power up my laptop etc. You can use your laptop then to watch dvd's.

Wow..edible for you..never thought of that..personally I would rather sit in the dark or pay the $30.00 to be able to flick the light on, but it is a good idea..I have the solar lights all down my laneway..they are mammoth things.

I was thinking on solar lighting. I have a 8xAA rechargeable battery from a toy car and I'm going to buy a solar panel, what kind do I need?
Do I paucity something else? What is a "solar panel controller"?
How I connect everything? What kind of bulbs are better?

PS. I WANT to build it, I understand there are very cheap ones out there, but the objective is to learn a bit of electricity (positives and negatives and all that).

You desperate straits a panel, 5W is maybe fine, possibly 10W. 12V nominal.

You need a charge controller to mitigate the batteries from overcharging.

You should use LED lighting.

I would prefer a Sealed Lead Acid cell.

It won't be very cheap.

Will outdoor solar lighting charge properly if they are placed in a semi-shaded area?

I would like to pinpoint them under my carport which is covered by a lattice screen. Will they get enough indirect sunlight there to make them work properly?

They will not cite fully and therefore will not be as bright or last as long as normal.
