Any hold that specializes in lighting and lighting only, can get whatever you want in lighting.

photometric and foot candle measurement for an outdoor pier/post light. how do i find that info?

Ring up the manufacturer (or mfr.'s rep.) and ask for the photometrics. (You will need to know bulb type and mounting altitude.)

Or, you can measure with a light meter (if already installed)

How can I convert the "innards" of a standard light to use with my low voltage outdoor system?

I lack to use a standard outdoor post light but change the socket and wires so that I can connect it to my low voltage circuit and use a 10-25 w low voltage bulb. BTW, I'm replacing a fitment that is too old and decrepit to fix. It used a double pin bayonet type bulb.

I am very sure that you can buy the "head" for a post mount light that is used with low voltage. Check that out and if you scantiness to keep your same head, you just use the innards from the new head.

Your existing wires might work, but I would rather use new wire. You don't have to trench it down, it only needs to be covered. You can always go along the pavement edge to the transformer.
