I am looking for Christmas bulbs covers for landscaping lights?

These look like big christmas bulbs, but they are covers that go over you r landscaping walkway light, I think.

I've been checking websites & it looks like this is not yet a stock item. Your best bet is to contact a speciality store like http://www.countrychristmasonline.com/ which has an in-house plotter. They take phone orders (888) 314-0173 so you can call & ask if they have these Christmas landscaping light covers.

Do my landscape lights waste power?

I have a strand of landscape lights. I only have 3 - 10 watt bulbs on this strand. So in theory it uses 30 watts? Or is it continually using the 80 watts the transformer is rated for? Am I wasting affluence and energy?

Transformers get hot so there must be a demise of energy in the form of heat.

I dig the wiring and voltage drop etc... I need help with the lighting design. I want to light up the front of my home (stone expression)(wall wash & columns) and do some up lighting and down lighting on trees (moon lighting effect) (bosky lot -nice mature trees). I've seen some really nice lighting in my area and view the concepts but need help in knowing what kind of fixtures and bulbs - also placement.

Any suggestion on a good retinue? Minnesota - Twin Cities

ELS (Management Lighting Solutions) They helped me out. It's great you can send them photos and they can even draw right on them to let you cognizant of where to put the fixtures. I was impressed with their knowledge on how to light different areas. I had gone through a couple of different landscape contractor but they didn't seem to discern much about the different techniques, they just wanted to sell me fixtures.
