How can I build a lighted sign?

We constraint to buld a 4'x8' two-sided lighted outdoor sign at our church. Does anyone have any experience in designing and building something like that?

Do you fancy it to light from inside or be lit from outside?

If from inside, I recommend building a 4' x8' x 1' frame with the 1' edges closed. I'd put any lettering on translucent Caucasian 4' x8' sheets and cover the lettered sheets

Please get a call up from a reputable Sign Shop. Don't do this at home. There is a grave danger of you building one big electrocution hazard and if someone gets killed that's all you shortage! There are fare too many variables involved and I would suggest

having a lighted outdoor canister sign built overseas.It will be a 220 current. Can I use this sign in US? How

The sign is being wired with 220 in the air. Will this be adequate or will I need to have re-wired for US, will I need a transformer? it measures 6' x 20' if that makes a leftovers.

You will have to use a voltage convertor, not justified a plug adaptor.
