Hi XXXXXXXX. There are a twosome of ways to draw this out. You can go into the attic and try to get far enough into the eave to look down through the cinder cube obstruction to see if the cells are agape. Or, you can install a weatherproof box to mount the light to (you demand a weatherproof box with either fount of instatement), and run a scanty bit of PVC conduit out of the top of the box and through your soffit into the attic. I suppose this would be the easier way to go. If you arbitrate to try to way the wire through a cubicle in the obstruct insane, I would shield the wire with 1/2" facile conduit where it contacts the erase.
