LED light bulb replacement for chandeliers and wall sconces that currently use 20w incandescent bulbs?

Many of the light fixtures in my outfit use the small Candelabra base bulbs. Although they use 20-25w per incandescent bulb, that adds up to 50w and 100w for several of the rooms (and chandeliers). ALL of these bulbs have disconcerted, individual lamp shades covering the bulbs.

I've replaced most of the standard base incandescent bulbs with compressed florescent bulbs to save on energy costs, and I want to do the same with these bulbs. I know there are compact florescent bulbs are available in this measure assess, but I'm curious about venturing into LED bulb territory even if it costs extra in the short term. I'm most interested in crave-term savings.

Normally, LED bulbs are used for directional lighting, but with the lamp shades, is it possible to get a like amount of light? If yes, where can I find these bulbs?

What you are looking for a called C7 led replacement bulbs. These have the candelabra underpinning. I just ordered them through Amazon. Although these bulbs will fit exactly I suspect that they will not give off very much light. They only have 3 led's inside the bulb. (about 1 watt) These Could be cast-off for effect but really not for lighting. The neat thing about these bulbs is that they are direct 120v replacements. Which means they can be in use accustomed to for night lights electric candles xmas lights etc. I just ordered them to experiment a only slightly bit.

I've got CFL's in most fixtures of my edifice and am pretty pleased. However, for some "high usage" rooms we are considering getting some LED bulbs for even more forcefulness efficiency.

Please answer as many questions as you know :-)
+ What is a reputable store that sells LED bulbs? Online is fine, although I would lodge not to buy off eBay or similar. Do you know of any stores that do sell LED bulbs, where I could go in and physically look at the packages? (I spend in the US.)
+ Are there dimmable LED bulbs available? 3-way LED bulbs? Floodlight/outside LED bulbs?
+ In your experience, how "natural" is the light from an LED bulb?

Oh man, I've got answers for you....

I drudgery for a company that HAS these bulbs, 2 years ahead of everyone else at this point, so feel free to contact us at the website below and see what we have to bid.

Dimming doesn't work very well on LED's, as it degrades the lifetime of the LED itself, not from the actual dimming, but from the real action of dimming it, so if you are going to attach a dimmer switch, try to leave it in a stable position, rather than allowing anyone to cheer up or dim it often. So far, no 3 way LED bulbs, but working on it.

Some of the lights are good for outdoor use, as they are unbreakable and water resistant, do not create heat, and use well under extreme conditions such as temperatures and weather. It's always a good idea, however, to protect your light fixtures as much as admissible.

In my experience, the intensity of the light created by these LED bulbs is sufficient for either task or ambient lighting, but it doesn't air natural...not yet! You could always put a salmon-coloured diffuser on it, though, which would augment the colouration and create a more natural effect. We're also working on that fancy!

Notes to Biomedking:

"LED lights are not dimmable as yet..." NOT true...you can either step down the voltage, say from a 12V to a 9V, and that will dim the lights, or you can affix a dimmer to them, effectively doing the same aspect...it's the physical act of dimming them, however, that degrades the mechanism of the LED's, so try not to do it too often...either leave them dimmed, or only occasionally cheer up or dim them!

"Led's do not throw light like a regular bulb"...this HAS been true, up register now, but we have a broad spectrum area light that truly lights up a 10' x 10' space...and the rest of your comments hardened to be true, as well, but there have been recent technological advancements that render them untrue at this point...
