Can someone delineate how the lemon lights up the light bulb ? What role does the copper wire and pennies play ? And any suggestions for making this procedure a success for kids ? My daughter is trying to find more detailed info and hasn't had much luck

okay. i want to know how the electrons flow through the light bulb in a circuit and how it makes the light. any links to sites or diagrams would be apprieciated. i will pick a greatest answer.

That in actuality depends on the type of light. There is incandescent and fluorescent. Incandescent lights use a thin coiled coil of tungsten carbide (WC). Tungsten Carbide is occupied because it is very strong and has an extremely high melting point.
