I bought a $5 desk lamp at the grocery retailer, and liked it a lot. After a year the included 7-year existence condensed florescent bulb failed, and I discovered the bulb had an atypical GU24 evil. Look at the pins on the bottom of the bulb in the spitting image. Family depot doesn't cattle this exemplar of bulb, so I almost threw the lamp away, then resolute to also kelter a bulb through amazon.

can i use a desk lamp for a uvb?

i got a 2.0 uvb 13watt the other day looking for something i that will hang on to it, will a clamp desk lamp be okay.Could you suggest anything else that i could use that is over $30.

its for a brown tree frog and i checked the globe fits

I would not use a well-ordered lamp because it will over heat- the light needs to be on for 12 hours a day. I would prefer Exo-Terra or Zoo-meds label Ceramic lamps, because they will not over heat.
