Do they sell energy saving lightbulbs that are the halogen ones that are dimmable?

You discern the ones that you have on a "ceiling rack" in the kitchen? We have changed all our regular bulbs to energy saving ones hoping they will cut our energized bill down! But there are so many out there we dont know if they sell the dimmable ones.
If so where abouts and are they more expensive?
How much money will we save on energized if we switch to energy saving like everyone keeps piping on about!

I contemplate you mean dimmable GU10's.

At the moment, I'd go for these and forget dimming.

How do energy saving lightbulbs help, why are they expensive?

If energy saving happy bulbs help the earth so much, why do they cost more than regular ones??? Also, what else do you do to help the environment, e.g. showers, scratch, plastic, paper, etc.

they're more compound to make. Also they last 10 times longer (unless they're cheap junk from a certain Asian mother country famous for junk that doesn't work.)

Let's tally up the costs of 10,000 hours of each big-hearted of bulb.
Standard 60 watt lightbulb.
Cost 50 cents last 750 hours. Extremity 14 of them so $7.00
Cost to run 10,000 hours = 600 kwh = $66.00
Cost to change 13 times (in your heretofore/effort) = $1 per so $13.
Total cost $86.00

11 watt (60 watt equivalent) CFL.
Cost $6.00 lasts 10,000 hours. = $6.00
Cost to run 10,000 hours = 110 kwh = $12.10
Sell for to change once = $1.00
Total cost $19.10

So that 50 cent bulb may be more expensive than you think.

310S raises an engaging point, but it swings both ways. First, electric heat is more expensive than gas/oil heat, so waste heat from lightbulbs is an dear way to heat. Second, in the summer, all that waste heat makes your air conditioner work harder, which means you are paying twice: First to devise the heat, and second to get rid of the heat.
