anyone has an opinion about the silverstar light bulbs that autozone, or discount auto parts sells?

these are the headlight bulbs. how Sunday are they ?

Don't abuse your money.I just saw a thing on them on 60 minutes 2 weeks ago.If you are going for the look for style then supreme but as far as increased visibility their tests showed no real increase in distance or intensity.

The 100 watt will be outlawed in 2012 and the 40 watt a few years later. What will go on to the multi-watt bulbs, spotlights, track lights, and all the rest? Are halogens immune? How will they replace the "irascible" lights most of us have in our homes? Right now, four 40 watt bulbs cost $1.69 at Long's. One flourescent sells for over $3.50 without the Phillips transitory discount. How stupid are we? Do you think this is another 'ethanol" scam? Are we going to spend billions on these things only to find that the mercury mass is intolerable? What happened to free choice? Why not outlaw SUVs, motorboats, and private planes?

Why not exclude SUVs, motorboats, and private planes?

How to change blinker bulbs in '89 dodge spirit?

I've got an 89 waffle spirit used just the other days and the blinker lights come on but don't blink. From what I've understand they need new bulbs so I went ahead and got all 4 new bulbs. Discount Auto Parts said my model were 3057s.

I just have no intimate how to go about changing them. In the trunk the only thing I can see are two big wires going into the back lights but I can't seem to pull or pry them out and in the front all I can see and pull out are things that look by a hair's breadth like plugs going into outlets.
*edit: The lights don't come on on the outside, but on the private where it shows the arrows they light up but don't flash. I can look inside the front left blinker and can see that there is no bulb entrails period. However the right blinkers worked a few times but have stoped and show the same problem as the left ones.

If the lights become public on but don't flash,the flasher is bad.
