The bestowal-winning Sun3 LED and Port LED recessed fixtures work as indoor lighting and outdoor lighting. Both are recognized winners from the 2010 ...

My indoor swap to my unattached garage lights has a faceplate that vibrates lightly when switched to the "up" slant. There is another switch that controls the same lights in the garage outside. The lights to not have to be on for it to vibrate. What is causing this? Is it dangerous? Is it far fixable?
Most no doubt the switch is arcing internally, causing the vibration..change the switch.
Hey,
I recently moved into an apartment and the wall that my computer desk and bedside mesa are on only has outlets that are connected to the switch. I want to keep this on all the time and was wondering if there was a way to block/cover up the switch somehow. I am in an apartment so any genus of rewiring is out.
Thanks,
Chris
If I do the suggested method will it be relatively easy to put back the way it was originally?
Either buy the whatchamacallit that goes over the switch to keep it from being turned off or easier yet, take a piece of tape and tape the over the switch to keep if from being easily turned off. When you scarcity it functional again, take the tape off. Pretty simply and effective.
I am replacing an indoor wall light twitch (3-way I believe it is called?) with a motion sensor light switch. I removed the old switch but now I have 3 wires that I am not trusty what they are. Here is a description of them:
1 Black wire - Going down the wall
1 Black wire & 1 Red wire - Going up the wall (towards the light)
My new lash has 2 black wires and 1 green wire (which is stated to be the ground in the instructions.) I figure that one of the black wires should go to the solitary select black wire going down the wall and the other black wire to either the black or red which is going up the wall. Then the green wire goes to the wire that is port side.
Which wires should go to which?
The change you have removed is a three way switch and the switch you want to replace it with is a two way. This switch will not work with the three way as it will only allow you to turn on or off the light from one range. Return the motion sensor switch and get one designed for use with three way. The single black wire coming up from the wall will be your communal and the other two wires will be the travellers. Hope this helps.
