What is the advantage to using a ceramic fuse in electronic equipment as opposed to a glass fuse?

I opened a manage box for a boiler and found that the 125vac to 24dc transformer had a ceramic fuse. I was curious as to its attributes and differences from glass fuses.

While goblet fuses have the advantage of a fuse element visible for inspection purposes, they have a low breaking capacity which generally restricts them to applications of 15 A or less at 250 VAC. Ceramic fuses have the help of a higher breaking capacity

I am missing a melt and a fuse cap for my red face swr 360 bass guitar amp.
The one fuse that i have is a ceramic buss ABC 10 fuse 250v.
Does it substance if i replace the ceramic fuse with a glass fuse on the bass head?

Ceramic fuses are inveterately sand-filled, and that affects their time-to-blow characteristics. I would replace it with the same. A glass fuse might not have the rational time constant, and blow on power-up (due to the in-rush).

As far
