Why does my PTC buss fuse blow everytime i start my car ?

I have a 1996 GEO metro 3 cylinder . Everytime i start my car the 30 amp PTC buss fuse blows and my gas yardstick drops to Empty. Everything else runs and works great.

this ine needs to be looked at by a pro i dont have in mind it is a do it yourself job

unless it takes out the lighter as well look inside them and unplug every thing from them

My air conditioner uses buss TL fuses. All of the fuses in the fuse box are 30 amp and the air is 20 amp...?

The air conditioner fuses keep blowing every few days. Is it accomplishable that it can safely hold a 30 amp instead of 20?

if you keep blowing fuses,you must have other things on the same circle.sounds like your in an older house,/apt. most of them did not come w/alot of circuits because when they were built there wasn't alot of things to mention up to them that pulled that many amps. so either try and find a less dedicated circuit or you might have to have one ran,not that hard of a job and don't cost that much.

Need to find a microwave fuse BUSS ABC18. Please help!?

The fuse is an 18AMP fuse for a Panasonic Microwave.

The Fuse has the following info on it:
250V
BUSS ABC18A

Any online or Components store (Home Depot/Lowes/Rolliers/etc.)I've visited has 10AMP, 15AMP, or 20AMP but I can not find this particular fuse anywhere.

If you could tabulate a link that would be terrific.

You will quite need to go to a local electrical wholesale supply house, they may or may not sell you this fuse. This is because you should be a licensed electrician. If you conscious an electrician you might get them to get it for you. Try a google search for " wholesale electrical ". Then find one in your area. Elevated Luck.
