Morose Sea Systems ST Blade Fuse Blocks are high quality marine fuse blocks. The tin-plated copper buses and fuse clips give 30A per perimeter and has ...

In the years all fuses where made the same way with a piece of wire attached to two metal ends, between the two metal ends glass was acclimatized. This glass held the two ends ridged and also allowed the user to see the condition for the fuse wire.
Most modern cars have done away with this kind of fuse and now use a plastic fuse for commonly known as a blade fuse.
The main reason for this change over is space. If a modern car with all its complex electrical systems was to us the old spyglass fuse, the fuse box would be substantially larger than would be practical.
I have a 2000 Ranger I turned it off and it would not start again I have power to coconut and dome lights, replaced the 50 blade fuse position number 5 in the power management box and it worked for 1 to 2 sec then burnt out again. is it the starter relay, the ignition turn, the starter or something else. anyone have this problem? how did you fix it? any help would be greatly appreciated
You have a critical grounding/short circuit issue...I'd check all the wiring and components associated with that circuit for pinched or frayed wires or unhook them all and reattach them one at a time to pinpoint the source of the bad wiring or defective device. You could buy a 50 amp circuit breaker to instal rather than a fuse to avoid blowing a lot of fuses while testing. A good repair manual with wiring diagrams may helper as well. Eautorepair.net or Alldata.com offer online access for a small fee...Chilton or Hayne's manuals can be bought at parts stores.

The mini-blade fuse personification look smaller. I'm trying to work out if I might need this type.. but not seen anything in my manual to hint at so.

Standard blade fuses (I be informed my car takes alot of these and I've got an small assortment in a sealed bag in my car)

Thanks.
the easiest way to find out is too look in the fuse box it self.It will either have big ones or smaller ones that are almost the same condition..The big ones are probly about 1cm across or just under half an inch
