How can I expand my fuse box? Add new circuit?

I have a older fuse box with advertise fuses. I have some blank panels and would like to add a new circuit, What is the edision base that i need called? I design on upgrading to a circuit breaker panel sometime, but I thought this would hold me over.

you doubtlessly won't be able to find the parts for the brand fuse panel that you have, it's most likely not made anymore. you would need to understand the proper codes for your area and add an external box with a circuit breaker, or fuse recepticle (if you can find one). it may need to be connected with conduit to run the wires to it in some areas. and the devour wires that supply it would be larger than the wires you plan to run off of it. your best bet would be to hire an electrician so that everything is heavy enough to not overheat and compel a fire. the electrician would be able to determine if the supply to your house and your mains (fuses) will handle the larger overwhelm. you could void your coverage on your homeowners insurance by doing it yourself and having problems if you don't pull out a permit and have the travail inspected by your local building inspector. good luck, hope this helps.

How do I add accessories to my fuse box?

I am looking to add an LED lighting reach to the truck of my car. It will be controlled by a rocker switch. I don't want to run a dedicated power cable from the battery for such a low power perimeter so I wanted to run it through the fuse box. How do I use the open spots in my fuse box?

you can find a wrie such as the adscititious or 12v key power wire like you use to wire up your head unit and that would allow you to run the wire via your switch without starting a new one and when the key is on it will toil.

I don't have and accessory outlet in my car and im adding a new one, but instead of running the wire to the battery and doing in line fuse i wanted to added it to a unornamented section of the fuse box. How do i go about doing something like that? Thank You

there's already one side of the power wire supplied to the fuse panel you have to get the other part and run that to what ever your hooking it to then it will be a fused boundary,most parts stores sell the prong you need to do this in the help section of their parts line,kind-hearted luck.
