i upgraded amps and got a smaller calculate wire and the people at abc hooked it up to my old fuse and fuse holder. they suggested that i buy a bigger fuse holder and the fuse that goes with it. i have a friend that has the same amp and is uninterrupted it off of the smalelr fuse and has no problems. i was just wondering what will happen if i dont upgrade fuses and use the one i have now.

If too much power goes through the fuse, it will bombshell. That is about it.

What estimate wire and fuse and how many watts??

The purpose of the fuse it to "protect" the power wire going to you amp. If your amp is representation to much power, the fuse will blow. If you're not having any problems with blowing fuses then you're ok.

Something else to keep in mind. Shorts can basis fuses to blow as well. So if you start running into blown fuses often check for shorts in the system as well.

Chances are the only aspect you needed to change is the fuse itself and they probably changed it. The amp rating of the fuse on you main power wire should equil the reckon of the all the fuses on your amps. For example, if one amp has a 30a fuse and your other has a 50a fuse than your mian fuse should be 80a. If your fuse holder is large enough to hold your new wire than it is probably adroit enough to hold the right fuse.
