Yes, you impecuniousness a fuse for your amp's power wire. Here's how to presence out the area you necessity, or at least, this is how I have heard to do it. Look at the mass of the fuse(s) on your amp. Say for archetype..the rateing of the fuse is "40" amps. You have occasion for a 40 amp fuse...haveing a only slightly higher won't be too bad. Only bear in mind, that the bigger the fuse, the more power it'll take to flare up that fuse, thus, resulting in more mar to your amp, and whatever else you have direction off of that one power wire. Go with a insignificant decrease. If your amp has more then one fuse. Like...a unmitigated of 2 or 3 fuses, barely add up all the values. Say for model...two 20 amp fuses...makes 40 amps. Catch a 40 amp fuse, or a illiberal less. But not too much. if the the fuse rateing is too low for the wire's currect out, the fuse will puff instantly, or the instant you start to whirl it up. Another oversee of thumb...always rip off assured the fuse is no more then 18 inches away from the battery. my complication...
See as it lights up in spurts, then stays lit, then once the timer stops, it dims and cools down.

My 1988 Tercel has a fuse hunk built into the positive terminal lead that is connected to the battery. This fuse block has 3 large (trash can shaped) fuses with the center being a grassy 40 amp. I have installed a new battery and a newly rebuilt alternator. But the 40 amp fuse still blows. I am thinking that there is a wiring concise somewhere.
I'd bet on the alternator
I have changed the rule gasket, 1 fuel injector, plugs and wires, rotor, & timing across., and the 40amp. fuse under the hood blows out when I start the truck.
I assent to with the other person who answered you. Somewhere, and vehicle electrical is a real b****, somewhere there is a short. I'd start with bent over checking any/all wiring that you stated you'd worked on already. Then, from there I'd go to starter/battery wiring/connections. Merely , be patient, and keep checking wiring connections one by one. Take it one connection at a time, and be patient. As I stated, veh. elect. is a verifiable pain. As long as you only tackle one connection route at a time, you won't get too overwhelmed, thus, frustrated. Friendly luck! And, as a last resort, consult a reputable mechanic that deals with vehicle electrics specifically.
My car wouldn't start. Boutique replaced starter, but told me they weren't sure this would fix the problem. Sure enough, I drove about 100 miles and then the car would not start. However, it can be started with a 30 amp fuse with a corrupted paper clip stuck in it. It will also start with a 40 amp fuse in the place where the 30 amp fuse goes. I need to journey about 200 miles tomorrow. Of course, I don't want my car to catch fire. What potential damages will I induce if I drive with a 40 amp fuse where a 30 amp fuse should go?
Nope it wont undertaking any damage. The only potential issue is if you went with a smaller one it might (probably would) pop again. Going with a larger fuse allows it to oversee more output...so there wont be any problems.
