T Lag Fuse - T2.5A 250V If your not insouciant opening your cabinet go to a repair shop but expect to pay. It wasn`t ebay (none were listed there ...

I impecuniousness to replace the fuse on my xbox. I know i need a 15 amp 250 volt fuse and an in-line fuse holder, but i can't find a 15amp rated in-sell out fuse holder. Will the 20 amp rated one work? Does anyone know what kind of external power provisioning i could use and the aproximate cost? I am trying to save money and space by just replacing the fuse. Thanks for any advise!
Yes it will employment. The 15 amp fuse will fit in the 20 amp rated holder. Don't use a 20 amp fuse, stay with the 15.
I don't know what you are irksome to do with the external power supply. I'll let one of your fellow gamers answer that part.
Offer you, I am glad to hear that the 250V fuse will work. I am just replacing a fuse in a 120V device that burned out. I am not stressful to convert it for 250V use.
All of the answers are change. I am an industrial electrician. All fuses should be rated for a higher voltage than what is being used. It is the current that you really call to be concerned with. For instance, on 24 Volt controls all of our fuses are rated at 120V. on 220V. circuits we use 600V rated fuses.
On my small craft, there is a switch on the instrument panel that has a blown fuse. The fuse that was in there was a 4A/32V fuse. I bought some 4A fuses, but they are 250V fuses. I tried a combine and they immediately blew. Is this becasue they are the wrong voltage or should I start looking elsewhere for the cause? Is it worth dispiriting a 4A/32V fuse?
You can use a 250v fuse in a 32v, practice, but not in reverse. I would grab a tester, isolate the circuit you are working on, sounds like you have a straight cut to ground.
