My trane XE80 was made 2/1994 I,m getting a new placid unit and I am planning to instal this XE80 In my garage.

Roughly speaking yes. But there are code and safety issues that must be adhered to as well. Depending on the codes in your area, the unit must be installed at least 18 inches above the knock over to prevent flammables and such from getting to the ignition source. Going through the wall to vent is ok as long as you keep a pursue the manufacture recommend venting procedures. There are also minimum distant requirements from windows and doors that must be followed. All of that info should be in the introduction guide that is provided by the manufacture

secure sure all those little reset buttons are pushed in around burner box (if you find one they all inter connect with each other, follow the wire from one of them to the other) other than that, scrutinize little exhaust motor that sucks air thru chamber to exhaust. if not clear that will do it to!!!

How to repair 92 model Trane heat only gas furnace?

The furnace will not come on at all. I have changed the thermostat and the melt that is attached to the outlet the furnace plaugs into. I have power at the plug the unit is plugged into. I still get nothing from the fan or the electric ignitor. Is there a mix or something in the furnace that could be the problem?

There should be a diagnostic come across that will flash on the circuit board that controls the furnace. Check to see what code it is flashing and follow the steps allow for.
