Rheem RGRM 90+ two stage gas furnace installation

This is a two exhibit 90% Rheem gas furnace with a ecm motor.

Can someone tell me how to replace a thermocouple from a push-in burner of a Rheem gas furnace?

I don't see any advice that the old thermocouple can be replaced. I know that the thermocouple is not welded.

As usual thermocouples aren't that hard to replace..it has to sit close to the pilot light..I have replaced them on a hot cut heater..& it slipped out of the bracket..They generally are quite universal.

Nonchalantly-get a replacement unit and then replace the thermocouple. Knowing how the looks and is placed makes it easy to succeed.

Are you accurate that your furnace has a standing pilot? I don't mean to be rude - but if you're not sure about even replacing a thermocouple - do you in effect think it's good idea to tinker with the furnace. I've attached the link to the Rheem residential furnace number.

Best of luck

Rheem Gas Furnace Criterion II will not start?

I have Rheem Gas Furnace Criterion II will not start. This furnace has been in the theatre since it was built in 2002. Almost every 1 1/2 month during this last winter, the furnace won't start. so I turned off the furnace for a while, like more than 1 hour then spin it back on, and the heater works. there are times that I have called a maitenance service and found nothing wrong with the furnace because it works when they occur on the power without doing anything to it. In short the maintenance guys are all puzzled. I am tired of them charging me money which they cannot configuration out what's wrong with this furncace. Last night the furnace is sick again and my family slept in cold building in Gresham, Oregon. I check the furnace and this time noticed the power light is on but OK light is blinking 4 times then hesitation and then repeats. I never counted the blinking lights before. Blinking lights tells me the pressure switch is closed, not ineluctable what this look like and where located. Please help, thnx.
I did check the pressure switch after looking at the websites what it look like and unplug the air genealogy, check that no water in the line or dirt, then plug it back in. place back all the panels and the motor works and now the furnace is working giving us warm up excite. thank you for your reply.

Your condensate note may be backing up and holding water in furnace causing pressure switch fault.
Drain should be on the house flowing with no kinks to the drain. It could also be the trap in the furnace plugged.
Get them or someone else out to check now that you know what code it has been settled. Probably not the pressure switch but a condensate problem or venting problem.
Edit: vent brass problems include sags which can hold water in the vent causing a restriction.

Rheem Criterion II gas furnace -1 hour lockout, now what?

I have a Rheem Criterion II gas furnace. The entity starts and runs okay most of the time. However it will stop occasionally and will go into 1-hour lockout mode (based on gaslight codes) . What is causing unit to work properly sometimes and not others?

I have checked the orange flame light. It appears to be on regular.
(When running) I went ahead and cleaned it as described. It is currently working but it's hard to say if that is due to the skilled work or just dumb luck.

Any other suggestions?

Is "1 hour impound out" the only description that it gives you? If it is, then it is probably flashing another code, as it is trying to work, then going into lockout. Fly the coop sure your air filter is clean and try cleaning the flame sensor. It is a thin metal rod in front of the far left burner. Launder it with some steel wool. Hopefully that will solve your problem.
