What service is required for a Propane Furnace?

I am buying a domicile and it has a propane HVAC furnace which does not have any professional service tags. The sellers stated they followed the owners enchiridion and have serviced it themselves. I am familiar with Oil burning furnaces but not Propane. Can some one fill me in on if there is required service by a licensed HVAC repair person or is live service ok even if you have no professional experience....

The dissimilitude between propane and natural gas is the orifice that atomizes the gas before its burnt. Propane is a lot cleaner than natural gas but most of the things are the same and should be serviced by a trained expert. I'm willing to wager the "service" they did was change the filters and that's it. Call in a pro and set up a air force schedule so not only will you have peace of mind come heating season, but someone will be liable for any problems that go wrong.

Always call a maintenance dealer for propane, it is very dangerous to do anything yourself, oil is not the same, propane is compressed gas and a dealer is required to fill your tanks or service. good luck!!

Can I use a Heat Controller Conquest 90 Gas Furnace, switch it to propane, and use it in a manufactured home?

Currently the Home base has a 80% Efficient Coleman Propane Furnace. Can I swap it out and put in my Conquest 90? The home has no basement.

Im making allowance for changing my heating system over to propane, how safe is a propane water boiler and is their a big cost difference in heating my home with it in the ny field
