inshot burner flashback?

I have an Amana 90% furnace (about 18 years old - 45000 BTU) with dual inshot burners. I have recently bought this well-informed in, and fancy that this stew has been there since inauguration. The furnace seems to zeal OK, but the burners (2) often flashback into the inner of the burner. Sometimes it will turn on duly, but mostly starts up with full flashback blazing entrails - then will sometimes manifest and char suitably. When scorching 'correctly', the burners 'pulsing' a bit - not bad, but I ruminate over the regulator is pulsing the demands at about 2 per sec beating. These issues may or may not be common as it doesn't seem to strike the flashback. The voltage appears to be enjoyable - don't have an ac ammeter available and don't identify what the known SHOULD be anyway . how do i convert my furnace from natural gas to lp?

at best bought a new furnace to put in our garage but we don't have natural gas and we want to run lp gas on it. conversion kits are too expensive. is there any other way to DIY so we don't have to spend so much on it? can we just change the orifices
