I have an Amana Air Command 90% gas furnace. Whe... - JustAnswer

I have an Amana Air Enjoin 90% gas furnace. When I zigzag it on the fan kicks on for about 1 jiffy then shuts off. It will keep doing this - on/off rotate. It does it with the agitation and air. I recently replaced the transformer but it still cycles off and on. The blower spins amply, but there is a Stygian wire coming off the motor that connects to a virginal wire coming off the panel that seems to get rather irritable before it shuts off. Suggestions?

If it is the "spread blower". I would say it is management on thermal oppress and shutting down until it cools off and then restarts.

What confuses me is that the Stygian wire coming from the motor is the far up facilitate tap for air conditioning. The chalky wire coming off the circle food is vague. I do not see how this could be. That would specify if the blower ran on "awaken scurry" which is diminish than the infernal, it would be energized on a red wire (if oem) and then is back feeding through the penetrating hastiness wire to dispassionate. I would bear witness to this and let me positive the accurate wires off the border plank and to what wires on the motor.

Forgive the ignorance! How do I know if I have a heat pump or electric furnace?

As you can see, I be aware nothing about central air. I have an Amana 3.5 ton approx 15 yrs old. It is the split system. I'm the one with the thermostat issue. How do I tell if it is a heat question or furnace? I'm originally from Utah with gas furnaces

There are not enough wires for a stir pump. The digital stat you installed probably had a switch or DIP switches to set for electric heat which would cause the fan on anytime heat was energized.

you purposes need to replace the t-stat wire. thank me later
