I have this guy repairning my furnace and his gauge was $385. is this too much? my dad says its a good deal because your paying for the part, labor , and warranty. i think the guy is ripping me off. lol.

Try and get another bid from someone else. then you recollect if your getting ripped off. It sounds right. the part is about $280. depending on your furnace.

I replaced the gas valve and don't remember how to hook the wires back up. there is a T,C,M on the valve. this is a forced air 80,000btu propane furnice ,with electronic pilot.
