That's what it is, the place between the loftiest ceiling and the roof. It predominantly consists of exposed ceiling rafters and the exposed rafters for the roof above. YES, get it insulated...it makes a elephantine argument.

I in use accustomed to Federal Conservancy. There have been some reduce cheaper recomendations on here. I paid $2.00 psf (20' X 50')bonus $200 each for two vents.

Some peole say it doesn't requirement to be vented. I strongly contest.

It's about 3' exhilarated in the front of the clan and scales down to less than a foot in the end as the roof slopes.

I discern I've asked you about roof insulation before. Still haven't gotten around to doing it. Do you be versed how much you've saved? How want does it take to pay for itself? I'm proper wondering whether the filthy lucre would be more weary on changing out some drafty windows in the back of the blood.

I have a heinous efficency gas furnace that runs good. But after it shuts off a little water leaks from underneath it. The pcv vent, trench and pump are fine. Does this mean my heat exchanger is broken or could there be a loose hose connection inside

Heat exchanger is cracked. Still under agreement accept for install costs.

You aren't thriving to save anything by doing this yourself. I know...They've offered you the replacement part but wont cover the labour to switch it out!

Complication is, you don't have the equipment to ensure the integrity of the installation
