Are there any 2005 tax credits for new high efficiency gas furnaces?

Where can I get word about this tax credit?
2005 tax credits NOT a tax credit for 2006..

And your furnace needs to be a minimum of 95% efficient to get tax removal. More than likely, these are going to be high end units--which means expensive units.

High Efficiency Gas Furnace Savings? Worth Updating?

I am looking to buy a retirement community here in Dayton, OH that is about 3000 sq. ft. but has high gas and electric heating and cooling bills. It has a Trane Furnace and air system, but I don't identify how old the unit is yet. My question is: How much of a savings have you noticed by changing from a less efficient gas furnace to one of the newer high or ultra high productive models.

15% or more on replacing kit.
If it has higher utility bills than normal I would have home checked out for how well its sealed and insulated.
Attic insulation is easiest locus to check and improve.

Hvac question: What is ment by the term redundant pilot ignition system in a high efficiency furnace?

A high efficiency gas furnace, what is a tautologous pilot ignition system-redundant being the key word here. What do they mean by redundant?
