Westwood C50D gas wall furnace bought in 1977 I necessity a parts diagram/Manual for this unit. I think the thermocouple needs to be replaced. Trying to find a website that deals with old or out of age furnaces.

Our old Vulcan gas wall furnace still works very well but some of the limn is worn off the metal louvred front grill (where I have hugged it!). Is it safe to repaint this part. I do not want to start a fire.

you can render it the same paint thet use on grills. ,or a car engine paint , paint must be a high temp. paint .the frist be that as it may you use it opn all doors and windows.,till the smell is burned off.
