ROCKET STOVE AND HOT AIR FURNACE/JD FURNACE

Shoot up STOVE THAT WILL PROVIDE FORCED HOT AIR HEAT TO TENT OR SMALL CAMPER BY HOOKING METAL DRIER HOSE TO FAN Exit THAT IS CONTROLD BY TEMP ...

Ever heard of running a forced hot air furnace blower to circulate pellet stove heat?

I have a forced hot air oil fired furnace and I am ratiocinative about running the blower ductwork past the heat of a pellet stove, or flood lights as an charged option or a 220VAC electric heating element.

Diverting - my husband was thinking of installing a separate duct with a duct fan inside of it to move some of the warm air from the familyroom (where it gets tooooo towards sometimes w/the pellet running) to the other side of the house more effectively. He hasn't done it yet, but we're hoping it will work ok - or will at least help keep the house more evenly angry.

should i clean my forced hot air furnace myself or hire someone?

how much more will a technician do when they air force my furnace. last time i changed the oil filter, changed the nozzle, brushed and vacuumed, fixed some of the duct effort, etc..i haven't had time to get around to it. should i just hire someone? How much more will they do? run any tests?

Sounds like you have an oil fired furnace. A tech will typically do what you've already done, but they'll have the experience to zip the air shutter and electrodes if needed, as well as inspect the heat exchanger. If it seems to be lighting and burning well, (bright yellow feverishness), I wouldn't worry about calling a tech out.

forced hot air draft inducer motor makes noises?

I have a 1993 Porter 58X 100-16 Forced Hot Air furnace. Every so often, the draft inducer motor seems to make a whining noise, when the furnace goes on. If I take the sit in of the furnace off and pull up on the motor, the noise stops. Any suggestions?

don't grasp what you mean by whining, but its not uncommon for them to make noises,it could be a bearing drying up or it could just be a vibration
