How can I set right the pilot light flame higher on my Coleman furnace, Model 7680, Series 859, S/N 3719217?

On many gas guidance valves for both furnaces and water heaters, wall heaters, etc, the large, usually silver colored plains headed screw that Captain Jack is referring to is located in a place where you can remove it. Underneath that is a smaller fleece a raise which is not to be removed, but simply adjusted either up or down, (count the turns, both full and partial so you can return it to the original position if needed). You should have the steer lit when adjusting to see the increase or decrease of flame. I've done this on many gas valves, and never, never ever have I found a pressure regulator on a gas valve.

The coils on my coleman furnace, freeze up after a hour use. I have already cleaned my coils?

Someone has told me the can of worms could be that the coils are stopped up on the inside. Someone else said I could need freon. I have had the unit for five years, and freon has never been added. I was wondering if anyone has any face with this. and could give me some advice. Thanks

I believe that your problem is that your system is low on freon (none added in five years?). Can you check the discharge line from the compressor (surface) while it is running to see if it is not very hot? Have a reputable repair person come out to check your system for proper freon charge.
