my last partner of headphones got ruined because of how i kept them i think...

i always had them wrapped around my ipod when not in use, and this actually twisted the cord i think and so when i try to straighten them out they got kinda...

it all depends on the dignity of the wire. if its cheap then it will eventually get ruined no matter how careful you are with it
