VMware question - creating a virtual machine or appliance from a live ISO?

I was wondering if anyone knew how to proselytize a live CD or ISO into a VMware appliance or virtual machine. I have several live utility computer and networking CDs and ISOs I'd like to be able to launch on the fly. Sometimes it's untimely, or more likely impossible, to shut down and reboot the system. Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you fatiguing to run VMware hosted on a windows machine, or a linux box? I don't know if you can do it under vmware, I haven't tried it on my induct, however I'm pretty sure you CAN boot a "live CD" under virtualbox instead of VMware if you are hosting on a linux organization.

How do I get to the files / server (via a browser) I am running on a LAMP virtual appliance using VMware fusio?

lamp.county brings up nothing.
localhost brings me to the network i'm running on my osx

is it possible to run Need For Speed ProStreet Demo on VMWare appliance or Virtual PC machine?

I am demanding to install Need For Speed ProStreet Demo in a VMWare appliance and Virtual PC machine that I created. I just wanna return settings wont be kept in my (real) PC. The last time I did, it threw an error. Is there something I missed? Are there some things I sine qua non to do before installing them? thanks in advance.

Not effective about virtual pc, but I think it'll be the same as vmware:

VMWare doesn't allow you to add a graphics card. So you've got no 3d acceleration and won't link up the requirements to run the game.
